ARE FUNERAL COSTS COVERED BY EMPLOYER’S WORKER’S COMPENSATION POLICY
If an employee/worker dies because of a work related injury then the employer, through its workers’ compensation carrier, will pay $3,500.00 funeral costs in addition to other workers’ compensation benefits. See, N.J.S. 34:15-13.
