Among the credentials listed by NBI are Dan’s selection to the Super Lawyers Rising Star list for the last five years. Dan is also recognized for cases that have created legal precedent in the personal injury field of law. These include Appellate decisions, such as Hardison v. King, 381 N.J.Super. 129), Frenklakh v. Lojek, (Westlaw citation: 2007 WL 470640). In addition, Dan’s litigation results have been featured in New Jersey Law Journal throughout the years.
The NBI has already published the proposed agenda for the Automobile Litigation Seminar. Dan will introduce the program, by detailing the case screening process. This includes the initial client phone call and forms used during the intake. Dan will discuss his interview techniques when meeting with prospective clients to determine if they have a case.
In addition, Dan will go through the steps necessary to investigate an automobile insurance claim and determine funding. There may be costs involved in procuring records and investigation.
As the day progresses, Dan will discuss how automobile litigation cases are filed and scheduled within the court. He will also explain an anatomy of common injuries. Dan will move on to discovery techniques, including witness depositions, obtaining medical records and expert retention. An important part of the lecture will be Dan’s discussion on evidence preservation.
The class will satisfy continuing legal education credits for lawyers in need of them. Others who may be interested in this seminar are paralegals and insurance professionals. It will be held at the Ramada Plaza Hotel, located at 160 Frontage Road, Newark, NJ 07114 from 9:00 am until 4:30 pm. Recordings will also be made of the seminar and available for purchase. Those who wish more information should contact NBI.
