The Forum recognizes trial lawyers who have verdicts and settlements for their clients for one million dollars or more.

Million Dollar Advocates Forum

Founded in 1993, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum is known throughout the country and belongs to select invitees. In addition to being current members of the Bar in good standing, members of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, attorneys who belong to this forum have had at least one case in which they achieved remarkable compensation for their clients. For some this represented settlement awards, although a great many came from verdicts rendered by juries. At the very least, verdicts, awards or settlements must reach a minimum in the amount of one million dollars or more. In 2007, the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum was added with regard to cases of two million dollars or more.

Wonder how many lawyers actually qualify for membership? Matrafaljo joins than one percent of American lawyers as a member; there are more than 4,000 members nationwide. The Forum also includes members who have achieved billion dollar cases.

Members’ practice areas include litigation in significant personal injury, products liability, malpractice, construction, environmental, employment, insurance, and business litigation. According to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum website, the common denominator among members is that they have each “demonstrated, in an objective and tangible way, their ability to accomplish superior results in complex cases.”
