$1,750,000.00 Recovery for an Injured Motorist
In July, 2018, while traveling in Union County New Jersey, our client was involved in a car crash with a commercial motor vehicle. At the scene, the plaintiff-motorist declined any medical treatment and drove her car home. Within a week, the plaintiff-motorist visited a chiropractor complaining of pain in her shoulder, neck, and back. Following initial treatment and MRI studies, it was determined that the plaintiff-motorist had a rotator cuff tear in the shoulder and a herniated disc in the low back. Due to her injuries, the plaintiff-motorist underwent two (2) epidural steroidal injections to the low back. The injections helped temporally, but the pain returned. Ultimately, the plaintiff-motorist required a right shoulder arthroscopic surgery and lumbar decompression with hardware.
During litigation, trial exhibits in the form of animations where created. The animations created are a great tool to illustrate the injuries to laypeople. For privacy reasons the injured plaintiff’s personal information are left out.
