V. B. vs. A.R., et al. rear-end car collision that took place on May 26, 2020, in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Neither party called the police and both left the sense of the collision in their own vehicles. Soon thereafter, the plaintiff sought medical treatment in the form of chiropractic, physical therapy and orthopedic. On September 28, 2021, the plaintiff was forced to undergo an anterior cervical discectomy with decompression of the spinal cord and nerve roots at C5-C6.
The defense claimed and argued that the plaintiff was complaining of neck pain and headaches due to falling several times at work a month prior to the closing and was involved in a subsequent car accident that resulted in more damages.
