At the scene, the pedestrian/plaintiff was incubated because of injuries to the head. At the hospital pedestrian/plaintiff had to undergo an emergency craniotomy surgery to reduce swelling of the brain. As a result of the injuries the pedestrian/plaintiff recovered $4.65 million.
